ILOILO City – A woman theft suspect wanted for two years was arrested in Barangay Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
The 33-year-old Gemma Lee Zonio-Albason of Barangay Poblacion, Libacao, Aklan was taken to the Kalibo police station on Feb. 1.
The policemen who collared Albason were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Cecirio Lampasa of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 2 in Aklan.
They served it to the suspect around 8:30 a.m.
The court did not set a bail bond for Albason’s temporary liberty./PN
