ILOILO City – Jusel Lagon was in a drinking binge with friends when Robert Necor arrived.
To Lagon’s surprise, Necor pulled out a knife tucked in his waist and stabbed him, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear what the motive in the attack was.
Police were now searching for Necor, who fled after the incident around 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 16 in Barangay Cabariwan, Laua-an, Antique.
The 34-year-old suspect is a resident of the same village.
Lagon, a 53-year-old resident of Barangay Poblacion, Culasi, Antique, was taken to the Rural Health Unit in Laua-an for the treatment of his stab wound on the body./PN
