ILOILO City – Suspected of using prohibited drugs, a woman was arrested in Kalibo, Aklan, a police report showed.
The 37-year-old Sharie Hermida was a resident of Barangay Jumarap, Banga town.
Officers from the Malinao police station caught her around 10:30 a.m. yesterday on the strength of a warrant of arrest stemming from Criminal Case No. 10226, the police report stated.
Hermida was charged with violation of Article II, Section 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Use of Dangerous Drugs).
She was detained at the Malinao police station.
A bail bond of P6,000 was set for her temporary liberty, police said. It was not immediately clear as of this writing whether or not she has posted bail./PN
