ILOILO City – The lifeless body of a 51-year-old woman was discovered inside a public bathhouse at the Iloilo Terminal Market in Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala II, Iloilo City Proper, on Saturday night, March 23.
Rosana Dumalag Monteclaro, a resident of Zone 13, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district, was found at around 9 p.m. without clothes and reportedly with her mouth foaming inside the Daniel Bath House across the fish section of the market.
According to the bathhouse watchman, Christian Drilon, Rosana had been inside for almost 30 minutes, so he knocked but received no response.
Meanwhile, Rosana’s child, Justin, said their mother was watching over their coffee stall earlier that day, told their younger sibling she would take a bath alone and never returned.
Justin also mentioned that they were unaware if their mother had any illness that needed immediate attention, as she did not complain about any discomfort.
An investigation by the Iloilo City Police Station 1 to determine the cause of Rosana’s untimely demise is ongoing./PN
