ILOILO — A 46-year-old woman was found dead early morning on December 12, in a river at Barangay Jibolo, Janiuay town.
Police identified the victim only by her alias “Jul,” a resident of the same barangay.
According to Police Master Sergeant Raymond Dailan, investigator of the Janiuay Municipal Police Station (MPS), the victim had been missing since the previous night when her family discovered she had left their home.
A concerned resident passing by the river early Friday morning saw the lifeless body and immediately reported the incident to authorities.
Police also revealed that the victim had a psychological disability, based on information provided by her husband.
