ILOILO City – Police arrested a woman over illegal gambling yesterday along Railway Street in Passi City, Iloilo.
The 54-year-old Regina Palma of Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Passi City was nabbed at around 10 a.m. while collecting bets for the illegal numbers game bookies.
Officers from the Passi City police station confiscated from Palma bet money amounting to P172 and gambling paraphernalia.
Palma was detained in the custodial facility of the police station./PN
