ILOILO City – A 55-year-old woman claimed to have been verbally attacked by neighbors in Project 7, Barangay So-oc, Arevalo district.
Delinda Surmieda told the police that Alma Salvador, 62, and her family uttered to her “annoying and threatening” statements that caused her “fear and anxiety,” a police report showed.
Salvador’s husband Crecencio, 65, and son Arthur, 38, even challenged their family to a gunfight, Surmieda said.
Surmieda said she was at a store to buy snacks for her granddaughter at around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 when Salvador confronted her saying, “Ako ya ginapabati-batian mo kagina?”
“Indi ka magbutang-butang ka sugilanun kay ikaw nagtulok masakit sa akon,” Surmieda answered.
Their argument further got heated when Salvador said, “Ka-gaga sa imo, ka-hangag sa imo, ako ya ginapabati-batian mo.”
Moreover, Surmieda said Crecencio and Arthur told her, “Wala na pulos nga istorya. Pagwaa bala ya mga lalaki niyo da kay kon ano gusto niyo, para mabal-an ta, pusilanay na lang ta niyo.”
The Salvadors cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
