BACOLOD City – A woman fell victim to the “basag kotse” modus along Hernaez Street in the city, police said.
She was the 48-year-old Josefa Trio of Bago City, Negros Occidental, a Police Station 6 report showed.
Trio’s Isuzu DMAX pickup was parked in front of a Chinese school along the street yesterday morning.
Around 7:45 a.m., Trio found that the front window of the car was already broken. The bag inside the car was no longer there.
Trio then reported to the police.
As of press time, officers from Police Station 6 were still identifying the suspect/s in the theft incident./PN
