ILOILO City – A woman was wounded while trying to pacify a commotion in Barangay Jalandoni Estate, Lapuz district.
The 20-year-old resident Chloe Lois Sausa sustained a laceration on her right eyebrow, a police report showed.
She received treatment at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Rolando Jagunap of Barangay Lapuz Norte, Lapuz district, the report added.
According to police investigators, Casiano – who was reportedly under the influence of liquor – had a heated argument with a certain “Aiko.”
Sausa tried to pacify the altercation but Jagunap allegedly attacked her using a broken bottle around 1:10 a.m. Nov. 11.
Jagunap was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the La Paz police station, facing charges./PN
