ILOILO City – Two motorcycles crashed against each other in Barangay Carmelo, Banate, Iloilo.
One casualty was recorded. He was 36-year-old Mark Velasco of Barangay Bariga, Banate, police said.
The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 31.
Velasco allegedly over took a vehicle but lost control and collided with the motorcycle driven by Warren Lanaja, 30, of Barangay De La Paz, Banate.
Velasco sustained fatal head and body injuries. He died on the spot.
Lanaja, meanwhile, was rushed to the Barotac Viejo District Hospital in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo for medical treatment./PN
