ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Polopeña, Concepcion, Iloilo landed in a hospital after he got stabbed on the last day of 2020.
Roland Espinosa, a resident of the village, was recuperating at the Sara District Hospital in Sara, Iloilo. He sustained a stab wound on the left arm, police said.
Tagged suspect was Roland’s 32-year-old uncle, Regie Espinosa, also a resident of the village.
According to the police, the incident happened around 3 p.m.
Regie allegedly attacked the victim during a heated argument.
Responding officers of the municipal police station were able to arrest the suspect. They took him in custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
