BACOLOD City – Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P6,800 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Alpie Espares, 38, and Ronnie Tejada Jr., 40, of Barangay Nabali-an, Himamaylan City yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Espares and Tejada were nabbed after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P500 around 1 p.m. on Aug. 11. The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
