ILOILO City – Two police officers figured in a road accident in Barangay Bitoon, Jaro district.
Patrolman Leo Famindalan, 30, of San Joaquin, Iloilo and Corporal Judel Lumampao, 36, of Barangay Trapeche, Oton, Iloilo sustained injuries on the body.
Both Famindalan and Lumampao were frontliners assigned at a border point in Barangay Buntatala, also in Jaro district.
According to police investigation, Famindalan and Lumampao fell off their motorcycle after the former lost control of the vehicle around 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.
The two policemen received treatment at the West Visayas State University Medical Center in La Paz district./PN
