BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Four sachets of suspected shabu valued around P2,000 were seized from 37-year-old Joevel Combate and 29-year-old Sherwin Secosa, a police report showed.
Police officers staged the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of the suspects around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and P300 cash were also recovered from them, the report added. Police impounded their motorcycle, too.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Victorias City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
