ILOILO City – Within almost five hours, police arrested two suspected drug dealers in separate operations in this city.
Edward Angelo Guevarra, 21, was caught around 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district.
Seven sachets of shabu were seized from the resident of Barangay San Isidro, Jaro.
These included the one Guevarra sold to an undercover officer for P700, a police report showed. The suspect was detained at the Jaro police station.
More than four hours later, around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Raniel Osorio was caught in Barangay Baybay Tanza, City Proper.
The 24-year-old laborer from Barangay Bonifacio Tanza, City Proper was detained at Police Station 1.
Four sachets of shabu, including the one he sold to a poseur buyer for P300, were recovered from him, a police report showed./PN
