ILOILO City – Two people were found dead in San Joaquin and San Dionisio towns in Iloilo province, police reports showed.
The lifeless body of the 45-year-old villager Dionesio Sasana was found in Barangay Camabaan, San Joaquin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
It was submerged in the knee-deep portion of a river with the head covered by boulders, one police report stated.
Another dead body was found in Barangay Pase, San Dionisio at around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday.
It was that of the 42-year-old widowed villager Mary Jane Hipolito, stated another police report.
The naked body was found behind the Montejo residence in the barangay.
Police stations of the respective towns were still looking into the deaths as of this writing./PN
