BACOLOD City – Two persons were shot in Barangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Police identified them as Lucito Lovero and Jolen Intig – all residents of the village.
According to police investigators, Lovero and Intig were homebound when eight unidentified suspects fired at them around 3:30 p.m. on May 17.
The victims were brought to the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City for medical treatment.
Officers of the Toboso municipal police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
