BACOLOD City – Three suspected drug peddlers were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P9,000 were seized from 26-year-old Archie Kim Demigillo and 39-year-old Margie Cordova – all residents of Barangay Miranda – along with 32-year-old Glen Paulite of Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, police said.
The suspects were caught after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 8:30 p.m. on July 15, the police added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Pontevedra municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
