ROXAS City – Three teenagers who allegedly ransacked a store in Barangay Sagrada, Dumarao, Capiz have been arrested.
Police caught Louie Salafraña, 18, of the same village, and Art John Perez, 18, and a 13-year-old of Barangay Bangcal, Lemery, Iloilo in a hot pursuit and hauled them to the Dumarao police station lock up cell.
Storeowner Roger Pacaonces told the police he lost grocery items of undetermined worth and P46,000 cash.
When he woke up around 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 11, Pacaonces noticed that the glass window of his store was broken. He then called the police, said the investigator on the case, Police Officer 2 Francisco Sagayno.
Some grocery items were recovered from the suspects, but not the P46,000 cash, Sagayno said./PN
