ILOILO City – Three persons landed in two different hospitals after a hacking incident in Barangay Lab-on, Igbaras, Iloilo.
Residents Juanito Mampula and his nephew Franklin sustained hack wounds on the body. They are currently recuperating at the Guimbal District Hospital.
Juanito’s brother Gregorio, meanwhile, was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao District after sustaining the same injuries.
According to police investigators, a heated argument ensued between Franklin and his uncles after he heard them talking about him around 5 p.m. on March 7. This prompted Franklin to hack them, but they fought back too./PN
