BACOLOD City – Four persons were nabbed for illegal gambling in Barangay San Pedro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
They were residents Romulos Verde, 53; Genilyn Rosales, 50; Peter John Yulo, 30; and Melanie Gabadan, 51, of Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Police chanced upon them playing mahjong around 8 p.m. on Nov. 24.
Recovered from their possession were a set of mahjong tiles and P1,407 bet money.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
