ROXAS City – Four separate antidrug operations on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of five suspects.
Two of them were caught around 10:37 p.m. at Homesite Village in Barangay Lawaan.
Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (PAIDSOTG) Team Alpha nabbed Danelin Loise Marfil, 20, of Barangay 9 and Jannel Solis, 29, of Barangay Gabuan.
They yielded eight sachets of suspected shabu and a digital weighing scale, two mobile phones and two glass tooters, among other drug paraphernalia.
Around 6:50 p.m. in Barangay Tapulang, Maayon, Capiz, the PAIDSOTG-Team Charlie and the Municipal AIDSOTG arrested Edimar Anoche, 38, of the same village.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Anoche.
In Barangay Tanque here, a woman sold to an undercover police officer suspected shabu for P300 around 6:45 p.m.
The 42-year-old Elisa Sison of the same barangay yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, a disposable lighter, two improvised glass tooters, two digital weighing scales, and two mobile phones.
The PAIDSOTG-Team Echo and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Capiz staged the operation.
Around 2:15 p.m., the PAIDSOTG teams Bravo and Echo and the CIDG-Capiz arrested Gerald Lara, 38, of Barangay Punta Tabuc here.
They recovered from Lara six sachets of suspected shabu and a disposable lighter.
All suspects were detained and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
