ILOILO – Sixty-six job seekers were hired through the Special Recruitment Activity of the Public Employment and Service Office (PESO).

They were from Iloilo, Antique, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental provinces, said PESO head Francisco Heler Jr.

Sixteen employed as nurses and medical technologists will soon be sent to the Dala Hospital in Saudi Arabia, Heler said.

They were among the 150 medical personnel hired by the E-GMP International Corp., a Cebu City-based recruitment agency.

Documents of the newly hired will be sent to its main office in Manila, said Branch Manager Jerelden Estrada.

They may proceed to Saudi Arabia two weeks after getting their visas.

Estrada said they will earn about P50,000 a month.

Meanwhile Home Credit Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc. hired 50 applicants as corporate sales associates, district sales managers and field officers, among others.

Some of the newly hired have started working, while others were set to begin work within the month. (PNA)
