ILOILO City – Police have been searching for drug suspect Jesus Tadeo for 12 years.
Tadeo – the No. 10 most wanted person in City Proper – finally arrested two days ago.
A 42-year-old resident of Barangay San Juan, Molo district, Tadeo started hiding in 2005 after he was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, a police report showed.
Around 3:30 p.m. on July 31, Police Station 1 officers caught him at the Hall of Justice on Bonifacio Drive.
They received information that he will be attending a hearing for another case, the police report indicated.
The officers served him a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Evelyn Salao of the Regional Trial Court Branch 25.
Tadeo was detained at the Police Station 1 lockup cell./PN
