BACOLOD City – Police have yet to determine the motive in a stabbing incident in Barangay Buenavista, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
The 42-year-old resident Joeffrey Tura sustained a stab wound on the chest and was brought to the Barangay Health Clinic for treatment, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear if Tura was transferred to a hospital.
Police said Tura’s 57-year-old brother Jessie is responsible for stabbing him on Dec. 1.
Jessie was detained at the Calatrava police station lockup facility.
Recovered from the crime scene was a kitchen knife Jessie used to attack his brother.
