BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man charged with attempted rape in Barangay Mabini, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
He was the 27-year-old resident Angelo Tampepe, a police report showed.
Tampepe was arrested around 7 p.m. on Tuesday on the strength of a warrant issued on Feb. 17, 2009.
He was detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P60,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
