ILOILO City – The Municipal Treasurer’s Office of San Dionisio, Iloilo has been robbed, a police report showed.
Police have identified a suspect – a 16-year-old who “escaped” the custody of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, the report stated.
According to the police, the suspect “forcibly entered” the office and attempted open a vault.
The suspect then opened a drawer and took more or less P2,000 worth of cash.
Police launched a hot pursuit. They recovered a knapsack containing coins worth P779 but failed to catch the suspect.
