ILOILO City – Charged with domestic violence, a native of Cebu City was arrested in Jordan, Guimaras, a police report showed.
Richard Yaeso of V. Rama Avenue, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City was detained at the Jordan police station.
The 44-year-old was accused of violating Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at 7:45 a.m. on May 25 in Barangay Hoskyn, Jordan.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P36,000.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if the suspect was able to post bail./PN
