ILOILO City – Two persons were nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Namocon, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
They were Glecyl Magno and Lyan Ray Vasquez – both residents of the village, police said.
Magno and Vasquez were arrested after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P2,000 around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, the police added.
When frisked, the suspects yielded nine more sachets of suspected illegal drugs.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the Tigbauan police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
