BACOLOD City – Two persons were nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 9, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P40,000 were seized from Michael Baladitan, 29, and his brother Francis, 27, a police report showed.
Michael and Francis – both residents of the village – were caught after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P100 around 4 p.m. on April 16, it added.
Cash amounting to P700 were also recovered from the suspects’ possession, police said.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Michael and Francis./PN
