ILOILO City – A fugitive from justice in San Dionisio, Iloilo was arrested yesterday in Barangay Tabu-an, Estancia, Iloilo where he had been hiding.
Joseph Iran, 47, of Barangay Bagacay, San Dionisio, Iloilo was taken to the town’s police station.
He was arrested at around 7:45 a.m. by policemen headed by Police Major Aldren Lamera, Estancia police chief.
The arrest warrant for the crime of attempted murder was issued by Judge Oscar L eo Billena of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 66.
Judge Billena recommended a bail of P120,000 for Iran’s temporary liberty./PN
