KALIBO, Aklan – Who’s got the best talent?
The 16 Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan candidates will vie for the Best in Talent plum in a pre-pageant competition on Dec. 22.
Kalibo Sto. Niño Ati-Atihan Foundation, Inc. (Kasafi) chairman Albert Menez said the contest will be at the Pastrana Park.
A panel of judges will determine who gets the award and takes home a sash, a trophy and a cash prize.
The candidates are Jazzine Mae Andres (Altavas), Rosebella Arbon (Ibajay), Honey Christy Bandiola (Malay), Gillian Christine Bartolome (Kalibo), Cleorodizel Baruela (Kalibo), Eirene Mae Cuare (Kalibo), Kimberly Joy Dalida (Kalibo), Rose Fuerte (Kalibo);
Ma. Andrea Paula Gabay (Malay), Khadine Kaye Hontiveros (Nabas), Eleonora Valentina Laorenza (New Washington), Theadora Elizabeth Laorenza (New Washington), Harriette Panagsagan (Altavas), Camille Fate Santos (Kalibo), Janelyn Salido (Ibajay), and May Adel Ahmed Salman (New Washington).
During the Best in Swimsuit competition in Boracay, Salido, Andres and Bartolome made it to the Top 3.
The candidates strut their stuff while clad in swimsuits designed by Lexter Badana and Ian Jorda on Dec. 10 in Boracay Hennan Regency.
Earlier, on Dec. 3, Gabay was given the Miss Ocean View corporate award at the Ocean View Resort Bar and Restaurant in New Washington.
Other corporate, minor and major awards will be given during the pageant and coronation night on Jan. 6, 2017 at the ABL Sports and Cultural Center. (Aklan Forum Journal/PN)
