BACOLOD City – After hiding from the authorities for about 14 years, a murder suspect was finally arrested.
Boboy Sayam, 36, was caught Saturday night on the strength of an arrest warrant in his residence in Barangay Tiglawigan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Judge Renato Muñez, then Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City, issued the warrant dated Jan. 16, 2006.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station.
Muñez recommended no bail bond for Sayam’s temporary liberty./PN
