ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 6 most wanted person in the municipal police station of Anilao, Iloilo.
The 41-year-old Leonardo Democrito was caught on the strength of an arrest in Barangay Ito Sur, Cabatuan, Iloilo around 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 19, a police report showed.
Democrito – resident of Barangay Palaypay, Anilao – was facing rape charges. He had been hiding from the police for about five years, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Anilao police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
