BACOLOD City – Four people were arrested in separate antidrug operations in Victorias City and Cauayan town in Negros Occidental and Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The biggest catch was a 20-year-old woman who yielded 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at an estimated P550,000.
Christine Mae Ayoma was arrested around 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday in Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City, a police report showed.
The substance was contained in a black pouch. Three more plastic packs of the same substance were seized from her.
Ayoma was detained at the Dumaguete City police station. She was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Around 6:30 p.m. of the same day, the 20-year-old Jonathan Bromo was caught on Osmeña Avenue, Barangay 13, Victorias City.
The resident of Phase 1, St. Michael Subdivision, Barangay Alicante, Victorias City yielded two plastic packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia, on top of one plastic pack of the same substance he sold to an undercover officer for P300, a police report showed.
A Suzuki motorcycle, a cellphone and P320 cash were also seized from him.
Around four hours earlier, two suspected dealers were arrested in Barangay Caliling, Cauayan — Adelfa Lim, 42, of the same village and Raymund Ignacio, 27, of Barangay Isio, Cauayan — a police report showed.
Police said they sold two plastic packs of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P200.
All facing drug offense charges, Bromo, Lim and Ignacio were detained at the police stations of the local governments where they were arrested./PN
