BACOLOD City – What two men in Barangay Tanza, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental argued about was not clear but it led to one shooting the other.
Romeo Solomon, 28, of Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body. He was rushed to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City but was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Police identified the suspect as Alejandro Delez, 63, of Barangay Tanza.
The two were in a heated argument when Alejandro grabbed a gun of a still undetermined caliber and fired at Romeo around 2 a.m., police said.
Alejandro also attacked Romeo’s sister Angeline and her neighbor Wenifredo Diosto. Both sustained gunshot wounds on the body. They already received medical treatment.
Responding officers of the E.B. Magalona police station were able to arrest Alejandro.
They took the suspect in custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
