ILOILO City – Police arrested a suspected drug peddler in a sting operation in Barangay Bagumbayan, Miag-ao, Iloilo.
The 33-year-old Roque Nicer was a resident of Barangay Tacas, Miag-ao.
An undercover police officer initially bought from Nicer a sachet of suspected shabu for P500.
Four more sachets of the prohibited substance were confiscated during Nicer’s arrest around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 26.
The suspect was detained in the Miag-a police station custodial facility, facing charges violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
