ILOILO City – In Zone 8, Barangay Calumpang, Molo district, a 23-year-old man has been mauled, a police report showed.
John Ryan Carcillar sustained bruises on the face and knees.
Carcillar told the police that he was drinking outside their house at around 11:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve when several people coming from the same family passed by him.
They had an argument that resulted in the latter attacking him, Carcillar said. He identified two of his alleged attackers as “Third” and “Bado” Castro, a police report showed.
After mauling him, Carcillar said his attackers also threw rocks at his house, causing “fear and anxiety” on his family, the report stated.
The other party cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
