ILOILO City – Her aunt punched and choked her, a resident of Barangay Bonifacio Tanza, City Proper reported to the police.
Maria Catherine Clavecilla and aunt Julie Ann Ricaforte, 40, of Barangay Rizal Estanzuela had an argument that led the latter to attack her, the 24-year-old said.
Grappling ensued between the aunt and her niece after the argument at around 8 a.m. on Dec. 16, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear what the argument was about.
Barangay officials who saw what happened broke up the fight, the police report stated.
Clavecilla sustained bruises and felt pain on various parts of the body.
Ricaforte cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
The village lupon will handle the dispute, police said./PN
