BACOLOD City – Police arrested a 40-year-old man charged with domestic violence in Barangay Lagasan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Hedjick Latido of Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant on Dec. 16, a police report showed.
The Bago City police served the warrant the court issued in relation to the charge for violation of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004) that Latido faces.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Bago City police station.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if the suspect posted bail./PN
