BACOLOD City – A jeepney dispatcher who moonlights as fruit vendor was fatally shot by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Alijis.
The 34-year old Mitzel Yap – resident of the village – died of multiple gunshot wounds, a police report showed.
Police investigation revealed that the shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 16.
Yap was standing along the road when peppered with bullets by the suspects.
As of this writing, officers of Police Station 7 have yet to identify the suspects, who fled to an unknown direction. They have yet to determine the motive in the killing as well./PN
