BACOLOD City – His father saw him floating in a river in Purok Balinghoy, Barangay Busay, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 36-year-old resident Garry Egalam drowned police said.
He was fished out of the river around 9 a.m. on Saturday and was rushed to the Bago City Hospital where attending physician Dr. Lewin Torres pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The river was only a few meters away from Egalam’s house, added the police.
According to investigators, there was no foul play in Egalam’s death./PN
