BACOLOD City – City hall is working with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on the accreditation of the Bacolod City College (BCC) for its students to benefit from the free tuition program for state schools.
Councilor Renecito Novero and BCC administrator Ma. Johanna Ann Bayoneta, along with other local governments also running community colleges, met with CHED.
“Technical problems” in schools like the BCC were discussed, Novero said. He refused to disclose what the problems were.
But the councilor assured that students in schools like the BCC may avail themselves of the free tuition – just like those in other state universities and colleges – once the technical problems are solved./PN
