BACOLOD City – Fire left an estimated P1.5 million worth of damages in Barangay Banquerohan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The fire started from a gas tank in Alice David’s house, said Fire Officer 1 Harold Dajay of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The blaze then gutted the house’s garage destroying a Chevrolet car, a tricycle and two motorcycles, a BFP report showed.
Dajay said one person – David’s carpenter – was injured.
The blaze started around 7 a.m. on Oct. 2 and was put out a few minutes later, Dajay said./PN
