ROXAS City – Police arrested a man for illegal gambling in Barangay Sibaguan in this city.
Alias “Nono” was caught after he received bet money from an undercover police officer posing as a bettor around 3:55 p.m. on Monday, June 10.
The arrest was part of the operation against “Pick 2” betting scheme carried out by the officers of the Roxas City Police Station along with operatives of the Capiz Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Unit and Tracker Team.
Police confiscated the following: P20 bet money, P210 in cash, cotejo, and other gambling paraphernalia.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition./PN
