BACOLOD City – A four-year-old boy drowned in a creek in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Fritz Allyn Eloro was playing with other children at the edge of the creek on Sept. 30, according to father Allier Anthony, 27.
Investigation revealed that Fritz Allyn was trying to get his slippers that fell on the creek but was carried away by the strong current the heavy rain brought.
He drowned around 1 p.m. and his body was retrieved an hour after.
Fritz Allyn was rushed to the Dr. Gumersindo Garcia Sr. Memorial Hospital in Kabankalan City where he was declared “dead on arrival.”/PN
