BACOLOD City – A heated confrontation led to a shooting in Barangay Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 40-year-old Pablo Hebayle of Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental sustained gunshot wounds on the neck and right thigh, a police report showed.
Hebayle was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police investigation revealed that Hermie Resaba, 37, shot Hebayle.
They were having an argument in Hacienda Berhin 1 when Hebayle punched Resaba on the face and draw his .9mm-caliber gun.
Hebayle pointed the gun at Resaba but the latter disarmed him.
Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells, police said.
