A POPULAR PBA center is currently problematic as he does not know how to resolve the mess his wife is caught in, as she is in danger of facing jail time after being slapped with charges by the partner of a certain character actor.
A source told the Buzzer Beater that the wife of the PBA center purchased jewelry, watches, designer bags and shoes from the better-half of the character actor using checks from closed bank accounts.
“Sumasakit na ang ulo ni (PBA center) kasi hindi niya alam ang gagawin niya. Yung asawa niya posibleng makulong kasi may kalakihan ang utang (sa asawa ng character actor),” the source said.
“Nagsimula naman ‘yung utang ng asawa ni PBA center sa pag-order niya ng mga alahas, relo, signature bags at mga sapatos dun sa asawa ng character actor,” added the informant.
“Nung singilan na, nakabayad naman ang asawa ni PBA center ng mga tseke pero nung ipinasok na sa bangko ng asawa ni character actor, nagsitalbugan na lahat kasi puro pala closed account na.”
“Mahinahon pa naman nung una ‘yung asawa ni character actor, pinagbigyan pa ng palugit ‘yung asawa ni PBA center pero paulit ulit lang ‘yung pangyayari hanggang sa umabot na sa 60 ang tsekeng nagtalbugan.”
“Kaya nung napuno na ang salop nung asawa ni character actor, sinampahan na niya ng estafa at (Batasang Pambansa 22 – bouncing checks law) ‘yung asawa ni PBA center.”
“Nung naisampa na ‘yung kaso, todo text naman itong si PBA center dun sa asawa ni character actor na nangangakong siya na daw ang magbabayad pero hanggang ngayon wa pa din.”
“Sa totoo lang, kayang kaya naman bayaran ni PBA center ‘yan eh kahit pakonti konti hindi ko lang alam bakit ayaw niya. Maximum na nga ‘yung sweldo niya sa team niya eh.”
“Pero kahanga-hanga itong si PBA center ahh magaling magdala ng problema. Hindi mo nga akalain na may ganyang dinadala eh kasi maganda naman inilalaro niya sa bago niyang team.”

Australian boxer Jeffrey Horn is in for a chance of a lifetime as he is set to face Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title on April 22.
Top Rank promotions head Bob Arum made the fight official following his meeting with the Australian-based Duco Promotions.
For those who still don’t know, Horn has a Bachelor of Education degree on Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Griffith University, and taught part-time at Pallara State School before deciding to become a boxer.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Horn took up boxing with the Stretton Boxing Club in the early 2000s to protect his high school friend from bullies and self-defense.
In 2012, Horn fought in the London Olympics where he went all the way to the quarterfinals round of the 64-kilogram division before eventually losing to Ukraine’s Denys Berinchyk.
When he turned pro in 2013, Horn became active as he fought once in March, April and May of that month. After his first draw in August, he went on to fight three more times in 2013 to end his debut year with a 6-0-1 win-loss-draw slate.
In his four-year boxing career, the 28-year-old Horn has earned WBO Oriental, PABA, WBA Pan African, IBF Inter-Continental and WBA interim Oceania welterweight championships.
Among his notable opponents are former world champions Ali Funeka of South Africa and American Randall Bailey. However, none of those he has faced is as big as Pacquiao, credential wise./PN
