ILOILO City – Suspected shabu worth P34,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calaca-an, Dueñas, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspect as Ellen Mae Latañafrancia of Barangay Simsiman, Calinog, Iloilo.
She initially sold a sachet of the prohibited substance to an undercover cop for P1,000, a police report showed.
Six more sachets were recovered during her apprehension around 10 a.m. on March 24.
Latañafrancia was detained in the Calinog police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
