BACOLOD City – Four persons, including a minor, were injured after the cargo truck they were riding fell to its side while navigating a curve in Barangay Caningay, Candoni, Negros Occidental.
Senior Inspector Jaynick Bermudez, Candoni police chief, identified the victims as the 36-year-old Jun-junAcbu of Catbalogan, Samara and Santa Fe, Leyte residents Ma. Lourdes Docal, 32, FiladelpoGayundato, 31, and AldriasWeslyAcbu, 2.
They were rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental where they were treated, police said.
The truck, which was driven by the 39-year-old Rene BoyValenzuela of Tacloban, Leyte, was carrying parts of amusement rides.
It met the accident around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, added the police./PN
